Toward Market Launch
Tarian Pharma plans to initiate a Phase 3 clinical trial in 2027, supported by a targeted €15 million fundraising round. This next stage will assess the safety and efficacy of TAR-0520 in oncology supportive care and support the company’s objective of a potential market launch in 2030, subject to successful clinical development and regulatory approval.
Clinical Trials on Cancer Patients Begin
A second funding round of €2 million enabled Tarian to launch Phase 2 clinical studies in cancer patients, evaluating TAR-0520 across priority oncology supportive care indications.
First Funding & Early Validation
Tarian raised a €1.5 million seed round from private investors, received the national i-Lab Innovation Prize, and secured a €375,000 grant plus seed financing from BPI France. These funds supported the preclinical program and Phase 1 studies in healthy volunteers, generating data on skin tolerance and systemic safety.
Tarian Pharma is Born
Founded by three dermatology drug development experts, Tarian Pharma emerged with a mission to help protect cancer patients from severe skin toxicities caused by oncology treatments. The name Tarian, meaning “shield” in Welsh, became our guiding symbol.
